Miles Caton Releases New Single LEAN ON via Columbia Records
The Sinners breakout star's latest track follows singles Somethin and Don't Hate Me.
Miles Caton is releasing his brand new single 'Lean On' via Columbia Records. 'Lean On' showcases his inherent musical talent in the first chapter of his promising career as a solo multifaceted performer. His voice, unique and rich in texture, is put front and center with layered background harmonies, sub-bass, and a prominent ambient trap beat. Lyrically, the song deals with someone coming to grips with the fact that the person they love needs space, while expressing unwavering support even through tough times.
''Lean On' is the late-night anthem for anyone who has ever loved someone enough to give them space, but stayed close enough to catch them if they fall,' Caton shares on the track. 'I wrote this song reflecting on those times in my life, and I realized that space isn't always a bad thing. Sometimes that time away helps you understand and appreciate the moments spent together on a deeper level.'
The new track, along with Miles' latest singles 'Somethin' and 'Don't Hate Me,' follows a one-of-a-kind breakout year with his role in the Academy Award-winning Sinners. The role earned him wins for Best Young Actor/Actress at the Critics' Choice Awards and Outstanding Breakthrough Performance at the NAACP Image Awards, nominations at the Actor Awards and BAFTA Awards, and recognition in TIME100 NEXT and Forbes 30 Under 30. His vocals in the film received major acclaim, particularly for his work on the Oscar-nominated track 'I Lied to You.'
On a trajectory for pure greatness, he is currently in the studio working on new music and will be embarking on his first-ever US tour in late 2026.
