WICKED on Broadway's original Nessarose, Michelle Federer, will return to the musical mega hit, beginning performances on August 18. Erin Mackey recently joined the production on August 11 in the role of Glinda.

Ms. Federer joins a cast which also includes Dee Roscioli as Elphaba, Tony Award-winner Rondi Reed as Madame Morrible, P.J. Benjamin as The Wizard, Kevin Kern as Fiyero, Alex Brightman as Boq and Timothy Britten Parker as Dr. Dillamond.

Michelle Federer's stage credits include: Three Days of Rain (standby for Julia Roberts), Boys Life, In The Absence of Spring (Second Stage), Anon (The Atlantic), A Man of No Importance (Lincoln Center), The Glass Menagerie (The Old Globe), 50th anniversary production of The Trip to Bountiful (Hartford Stage), originated the role of Nell Gwynn in Compleate Female Stage Beauty, Closer, and Hay Fever (The Alley). TV & Film: "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "All My Children," Rachel Getting Married, Flannel Pajamas (Sundance finalist), Kinsey, and "Wainy Days" (season 4 finale).

Winner of 26 major awards including the Grammy Award and three Tony Awards, WICKED is the untold story of the witches of Oz. Long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the land of Oz. One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. WICKED tells the story of their remarkable odyssey, how these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.

Declared "A Cultural Phenomenon" by Variety, WICKED currently has productions in New York, San Francisco, London, Tokyo, Stuttgart, Melbourne and on two North American tours. Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, WICKED has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and a book by Winnie Holzman. The production is directed by Joe Mantello with musical staging by Wayne Cilento. WICKED is produced by Marc Platt, Universal Pictures, The Araca Group, Jon B. Platt and David Stone.
