Artist and NYC pop-culture enthusiast, Michael Lazar, has unveiled an exhibition of his "Icons" collection featuring collages and acrylic painted worlds of electric pinks and sky blues married with recognizable icons from American pop culture and beyond in the lobby of THE OUT NYC located at 510 West 42nd Street (42nd Street between 10th and 11th Aves, Manhattan).

Whether it is Disney icons, Patriotism, Hollywood, romance, and classic cross-cultural images like the heart or star, Lazar's artwork is known in the art community as a celebration of the power of iconography and color.

"Icons" is on display and open to the public at THE OUT NYC through January 23, 2014.
