Michael John LaChiusa Participates in Pre-Performance Talk on March 29 for Bernard Alba

Lincoln Center Theater's Platform Series, a forum for public discussion between Lincoln Center Theater artists and interested theatergoers, continues its 2005-2006 season on Wednesday, March 29, at 6:30 pm with a pre-performance talk with Michael John LaChiusa, who wrote the words and music for LCT's new musical, BERNARDA ALBA. Mr. LaChiusa will discuss this new production as well as his other work this season; Ira Weitzman, LCT's Musical Theater Associate Producer, will moderate.

Platform Series events take place between the matinee and evening shows on Wednesdays, from 6:30 pm to 7:15 pm, in the lobby of the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65th Street). Admission is free and open to all; however, seating in the lobby is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis only, beginning at 6:00 pm. This season Mr. LaChiusa was also represented off-Broadway with his new musical, See What I Wanna See, at the Public Theatre, and currently the Houston Grand Opera is presenting his new opera, Send (Who Are Love? I Love You), which he wrote for Audra McDonald. His past LCT productions include Marie Christine, Chronicle of a Death Foretold and Hello, Again. .
