Mel Brooks to Sign CDs at 'Young Frankenstein' 2/27 Matinee

Immediately following Young Frankenstein's matinee performance on Wednesday, February 27th, Mel Brooks will sign copies of the show's cast recording in the Hilton Theatre lobby. The signing will be open only to ticket holders for that afternoon's performance.

The hottest selling new cast recording, Young Frankenstein was released in December, immediately outpacing even the smash cast recording of The Producers. Brooks' previous CD signing at Barnes & Noble was the largest and most successful celebrity signing they have sponsored, selling out the entire stock of CD's in under an hour.

Tickets for Young Frankenstein are available at Ticketmaster.com, at (212) 307-4100 or at the Hilton Theatre box office (213 W. 42nd St). Young Frankenstein plays Tuesday evenings at 7pm and Wednesday - Saturday evenings at 8pm, with matinee performances on Wednesday and Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 3pm.). Tickets range from $121.50 to $51.50 (including a $1.50 facility fee). $25 orchestra seats are available.

The production stars Roger Bart (Dr. Frederick Frankenstein), Megan Mullally (Elizabeth), Sutton Foster (Inga), Shuler Hensley (The Monster), Andrea Martin (Frau Blucher), Fred Applegate (Inspector Kemp/Hermit) and Christopher Fitzgerald (Igor).

Young Frankenstein features a book by three-time Tony Award winner Mel Brooks and three-time Tony Award winner Thomas Meehan and music and lyrics by Brooks.
