Meet Christy Altomare At The Drama Bookshop October 12

Author and photographer Adrien Finkel, along with acclaimed Broadway actress Christy Altomare, will together launch the publication of MY NAKED TRUTH on October 12, from 1:30 to 3:30pm at New York's legendary Drama Bookshop (250 W. 40th St., New York, NY 10018; 212.944.0595).

The event is free and open to the public and will include a book signing and a Q&A between Finkel and Altomare, who appears in the book, along with 20 other Broadway performers.

With over 200 full-color photos, MY NAKED TRUTH captures intimate moments of people at their most authentic, from everyday strangers to celebrities such as Chris Redd (SNL), Hayley Marie Norman (Adam Ruins Everything), Cassie Silva (Hairspray), and more. An intimate and empowering photo journal, MY NAKED TRUTH speaks to anyone seeking encouragement, guidance, and validation, providing inspiration to look deeply into your heart, find your truth, and discover what truly matters most.

"Adrien and I go way back and it's been so fun to watch each other grow creatively," says Altomare. "When MY NAKED TRUTH came to New York it felt like the perfect time to get involved. Leading up to my role in Anastasia I was experiencing a lot of personal growth and Adrien's project felt like the perfect platform to share a part of my story."

Adrien Finkel is a photographer, activist, writer, and producer based in Los Angeles. Currently a producer for Funny or Die, when not working on television, Adrien devotes her time to My Naked Truth Project, a visual catalog of quotes, personal confessions, and advice shared with her by friends and strangers. Christy Altomare is an American actress and singer-songwriter who is currently originating the titular role in the Broadway premiere of Anatasia. Altomare has played the role of Wendla in the first national tour of the rock musical Spring Awakening, played Sue Snell in the off-Broadway revival of Carrie, and made her Broadway debut as Sophie in Mamma Mia! In 2017, Christy elected herself to contribute to photographer Adrien Finkel's ongoing project MY NAKED TRUTH, and she now graces the cover of the project's debut book, in stores everywhere.
