Meat Loaf to Perform 'Bat Out of Hell on Broadway,' 11/2

Meat Loaf will take center stage for a one-night-only concert -"Bat Out of Hell on Broadway" - scheduled for November 2 at New York's Palace Theatre.

"Meat Loaf's last tour was in high demand selling more than 30,000 tickets in the tri-state area alone. Music lovers will have a rare opportunity to see Meat Loaf up-close in a rare theatrical performance of Bat out of Hell's greatest songs," state Virgin Records notes.

The trilogy is completed with his three-act show: Act 1 featuring songs from the original 1977 album "Bat Out of Hell" (including "Paradise by the Dashboard Light," "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad"), Act 2 with songs from the Grammy-winning "Bat Out of Hell 2 - Back into Hell" (including "I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)") and Act III, featuring brand-new songs from the forthcoming "Bat Out of Hell III - The Monster is Loose," premiering live for the first time ever in New York.

Pre-sale tickets will be made available for Meat Loaf fan club members on Tues., October 3 at www.meatloaf.net .

Special advance tickets are available through New York stations WPLJ and Q104.3, as well as other major tri-state area radio partners including WDHA (NJ) and WBAB (Long Island) Weds., October 4 at 9:00 a.m. through Friday, October 6 at 9:00 p.m. via www.ticketmaster.com (code: BAT3). Tickets officially go on sale to the general public starting Saturday, October 7 at 9:00 a.m. via Ticketmaster or the Palace box office.

"Bat Out of Hell III - The Monster is Loose (Virgin Records America)" will be released on Halloween.  "'Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster is Loose' captures the theatricality, elegance and melodicism of the first two albums, while infusing an even more diverse, dynamic approach."

The first single,"It's All Coming Back to Me Now," performed with Marion Raven, was penned by Jim Steinman, Meat Loaf's frequent musical collaborator and the composer of Dance of the Vampires, as well as of the upcoming Batman.
