Over a dozen theatre and cabaret stars will be on hand for We Miss Nancy: The Storefront Sings LaMott, which will be presented at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre (61 Christopher St.) on March 20th and March 27th--both at 7 PM.

Lisa Asher, Bobby Belfry, Nick Cearley, Scott Coulter, Brandon Cutrell, Suzanne Fiore, David Gurland, Rick Jensen, Liz McCartney (Mamma Mia!, Taboo), Carolyn Montgomery, Julie Reyburn, Ruby Rims, Ricky Ritzel, Gabrielle Stravelli and
Marty Thomas (Wicked) will perform songs with which LaMott is associated in the concerts.

LaMott was renowned for a versatile singing voice, clear phrasing and her ability to emotionally connect to the songs she performed. Kathie Lee Gifford, a fervent LaMott fan who helped to make the singer known to many outside New York cabaret circles, saddened millions with the on-air announcement of the singer's death from uterine cancer in December of 1995 at the age of 41. LaMott completed six albums--"My Foolish Heart," "Beautiful Baby," "Come Rain or Come Shine: The Songs of Johnny Mercer," "Just in Time for Christmas" and "Listen to My Heart;" "What's Good About Goodbye?" as well as "Nancy LaMott-Live at Tavern on the Green" were released posthumously.

Due to limited seating capacity, reservations are strongly suggested, and can be made by calling 212.255.5438. There is a $12 cover charge, as well as a two-drink minimum. No one under 21 is permitted, and credit cards are accepted.
