All proceeds will benefit Shakespeare East, a theater company in need, based in both Boston, Massachusetts, and in New York City. Shakespeare East's current endeavor is Hal Harry Henry, a cutting-edge composite of four Shakespeare plays - King Richard II, the two parts of King Henry IV, and King Henry V and is narrated by the future king, Henry VI, who acts as the play's chorus. Born of two warring nations, Henry VI struggles with the responsibilities of the crown. Seeking justification for his inherited power, the young king uncovers both the generational and international conflicts of his family's history. The cast of eight actors plays twenty-four characters. This triple-casting allows both audience and actor to experience the validity of each character's viewpoint, and offers resonance to the current political climate of a divided America. Quick-shifting light, metamorphic set pieces, interchangeable costumes, and a transforming cast of characters present this play like a live film. The play utilizes the cinematic convention of flash-backs and flash-forwards to bridge one-hundred years of comedy, tragedy and triumph in eighty minutes.

Hal Harry Henry was created in 1995 by Shawn Cody, and after many years of fundraisers and workshops, the play (then entitled Breath of Kings) had its premiere at The New Actors Workshop (Boston, MA) in August 2003 to full houses and favorable reviews. In July of 2005, Hal Harry Henry will be presented at the new Stanford Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center of the Arts (Boston, MA) This remount will feature Erik Lochtefeld of Broadway's Metamorphoses as

Falstaff/Henry IV/Exeter, and returning cast members Noel Allain of the Julliard School in his award-winning performance of Prince Hal/King Henry V, and writer-director Shawn Cody as Hotspur/Bardolf/Dauphin. After the Boston presentation, Shakespeare East will begin preparations for a New York premiere of Hal Harry Henry.
