Mark Jacoby Replaces Michael Arden in Engeman Theater's 6/23 Broadway Concert

The John W. Engeman Theater at Northport announces a change in the line-up for next special event in their ongoing Broadway Concert Series on Saturday, June 23 at 8 PM.

Due to a scheduling conflict Tony Award nominee and Drama Desk nominee, Mark Jacoby (Elf, Ragtime, Show Boat, The Phantom of the Opera, Grand Hotel, Sweet Charity, Man of La Mancha, Sweeney Todd) will replace Michael Arden in the upcoming show.

Produced exclusively for the John W. Engeman Theater by New York Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, five of New York's finest performers will recreate some of their most memorable career highlights, display their great versatility and share amusing behind-the-scenes anecdotes. The Broadway Concert Series has to date showcased the talents of 125 different artists whose combined credits include the following accolades: 4 Tony Award wins, 28 Tony Award nominations, 10 Drama Desk Award wins, 46 Drama Desk Award nominations, 1 Emmy Award win and 5 Emmy Award nominations.

Performers scheduled to appear are Dee Hoty (Bye Bye Birdie; Mamma Mia!; Footloose; The Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public; The Will Rogers Follies; City of Angels; Me and My Girl; The Five O'Clock Girl; Shakespeare's Cabaret), ); Tony Award nominee and Drama Desk nominee, Mark Jacoby (Elf, Ragtime, Show Boat, The Phantom of the Opera, Grand Hotel, Sweet Charity, Man of La Mancha, Sweeney Todd);Daniel Jenkins (Billy Elliot: The Musical; Mary Poppins; Big River; Wrong Mountain; Big; Angels in America: Perestroika; Angels in America: Milennium Approaches), Tony Award winner and Drama Desk Award winner Adrian Lenox (Doubt; Caroline or Change; Kiss Me, Kate; The Gershwin's Fascinating Rhythm; Chicago; How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying; Dreamgirls; Ain't Misbehavin') and Alton Fitzgerald White (The Lion King; The Color Purple; Ragtime; Smokey Joe's Café; The Who's Tommy; Miss Saigon).

Musical Director/Accompanist for the evening will be Jon Balcourt.
