After 28 years as a couple, Mark Badgley and James Mischka got married Friday at New York City Hall. Their big day was a lot less understated than their red carpet gowns worn by stars Sharon Stone, Oprah Winfrey and Teri Hatcher. Badgley's twin sister, O'Hara, was the sole witness when when they made it official at the city clerk's office.

The two met at Parsons School of Design and then launched their Badgley Mischka label in 1988, adding bridal in 1993. Friday night they hosted a Private dinner with their closest friends at the SoHo bistro Raoul's. And the infamous Sylvia Weinstock created their wedding cake.

They also took to Twitter posting this tweet: With much happiness, we announce that after 28 years together, Mark & James were married today in NYC. The tweet was accompanied by a picture of the duo's wedding bands.
