Welcome to MOVING IN, MOVING OUT, BroadwayWorld's monthly real estate recap keeping track of what's checking into Broadway's theatres, and what's heading out. Scroll down for an alphabetical list of the activity at all 40 Broadway houses.

Summer is traditionally a time when productions that have seen attendance waning decide to call it a day, but there's usually a new show ready to swoop in almost as soon as the closing notice is posted. That was the case when the 2015 Tony-winner for Best Musical, FUN HOME, announced a September 10th exit. The a cappella musical IN TRANSIT, with a score by talents behind "Frozen" and "Pitch Perfect" was produced by Primary Stages in 2010 and now claims Broadway's most intimate theatre for a fall opening.

July openings are usually sparse, but the return engagement MOTOWN coming into the Nederlander and the first Broadway revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS arriving at the Neil Simon shouldn't have any trouble packing them in.

At the moment, only two Broadway houses, The Cort and Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theatre are vacant without any upcoming occupants announced. That number could soon double when SHUFFLE ALONG, OR THE MAKING OF THE MUSICAL SENSATION OF 1921 AND ALL THAT FOLLOWED leaves The Music Box this month and this season's Tony Award winner for Best Play, THE HUMANS, transfers from the Helen Hayes to the larger Schoenfeld.

There's nothing scheduled to follow AN AMERICAN IN PARIS when it leaves the Palace on January 1st, but perhaps that will be the time, as reported in BroadwayWorld, plans will be executed to lift the historic theatre 29 feet in the air to create street-level retail space.

HOLIDAY INN will be the season's first new musical after SHE LOVES ME hands over the keys to Studio 54. Soon it'll be followed by NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812, DEAR EVAN HANSEN and A BRONX TALE. ANASTASIA will wait until THE FRONT PAGE is done with its limited run before taking over the Broadhurst.

Announced for later in the season, but not publicly connected with a theatre yet, are Joshua Harmon's SIGNIFICANT OTHER slated for a Shubert house in mid-February, MISS SAIGON coming to a Shubert house in the Spring, and Phillipa Soo in AMELIE, said to be coming to Broadway after wintering in Los Angeles.

Don't be surprised if we start hearing more about GROUNDHOG DAY, PHOTOGRAPH 51, BANDSTAND, GOTTA DANCE and a revival of SMOKEY JOE'S CAFÉ heading to Broadway soon.
