The Russian Tea Room (Midtown) The Russian Tea Room will be offering a special a la carte menu on Mother’s Day, alongside its Afternoon Tea service during brunch. During the holiday, guests can enjoy signature dishes like Chilled RTR Borscht and the RTR Burger, as well as French Toast with vanilla, mixed berries, maple syrup and creme fraiche; Eggplant à la Russe with Béchamel, parmesan, and breadcrumbs; and pan-seared scallops with avocado-mango purée. Additionally, those who opt for Afternoon Tea can enjoy a selection of teas, finger sandwiches, and housemade pastries served on elegant tiered stands. The Russian Tea room was founded in 1926 by members of the Russian Imperial Ballet. It is the iconic New York City restaurant known for its Art Deco-inspired design and takes on traditional Eastern European fare, caviar service and classic cocktails. Located steps from Carnegie Hall and Central Park on Billionaires’ Row, the four-story restaurant offers a transportive, multi-sensory experience defined by its iconic interiors with forest green walls, plush red banquettes, whimsical sculptures, and Art Deco elegance.
Carversteak (Midtown) In celebration of Mother’s Day, they will open early on Sunday, May 2nd, from 3pm until close. In addition to the dinner menu, the restaurant will offer specials, including appetizers like an English Pea Velouté and Harry's Berries Strawberry Salad, entrées like a Surf n Turf with wagyu and lobster tail, and a Lobster Ravioli, closing with a decadent Tiramisu. Carversteak is the beloved modern steakhouse in Las Vegas from Carver Road Hospitality. The menu, led by Executive Chef Daniel Ontiveros (previously of Joël Robuchon at The Mansion at MGM Grand, and also currently the chef of Carversteak in Las Vegas) is anchored by a robust steak program alongside elevated interpretations of steakhouse classics, playful shareable small plates, and refined raw bar selections. The beverage program, overseen by Francesco Lafranconi, Carver Road Hospitality’s Vice President of Beverage and Hospitality Culture, highlights freezer martinis and innovative cocktails inspired by traditional steakhouse flavors.
Chatti by Chef Regi Mathew in Midtown welcomes families to a Mother’s Day brunch inspired by the vibrant coastal state of Kerala, India. By one of India’s most celebrated chefs, Chatti is New York City’s first restaurant devoted entirely to Kerala’s Toddy Shop cuisine and was recently named 50 Best by acclaimed Chef Himanshu Saini’s guide to the world’s best Indian restaurants. Offered from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm, brunch will feature a curated prix fixe menu, priced at $90 per person, and $45 for kids, including an extensive selection of either non-vegetarian or vegetarian dishes, and a choice of one beverage and one dessert. Menu highlights: Pineapple Banana and Coconut Pachadi, fresh pineapple cooked with banana, grated coconut & tempered; Duck Mappas, boneless duck cooked in coriander powder & coconut milk curry, a Kuttanadu specialty; Steamed String Hoppers, home-style string hoppers from Kerala; and Cloud Pudding, a creamy tender coconut delicacy.
Le Crocodile (Brooklyn) Le Crocodile’s brunch menu will be available for guests looking to dine out on Mother’s Day. Guests celebrating can enjoy standout dishes like French Toast with berries and crème anglaise, as well as other highlights including Pancakes with blueberries and mascarpone whipped cream; Eggs Benedict with Parisian ham; Croque Madame with Parisian ham and Gruyère; and more, alongside a selection of housemade pastries. The pricing is a la carte. Le Crocodile is the all-day neighborhood brasserie in Williamsburg by Chef Partner Aidan O’Neal. Named one of “The 100 Best Restaurants in New York City in 2024” by The New York Times, Le Crocodile has earned a rare three-star review from The New York Times and multiple Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence.
Temple Court (FiDi) The restaurant will be offering a special brunch menu on Mother’s Day from 12-3pm in both the Temple Court Dining Room and The Bar Room at The Beekman. Highlights from the menu include Burrata with Plums & Mizuna; Peekytoe Grab Omelette with Chanterrelles, Spinach & Fava Beans; and Rhubarb & Strawberry Sorbet with Hibiscus Granita. In the Bar Room, guests can also enjoy live jazz music from Polite Company, adding to the celebratory atmosphere. The price is $85. Temple Court is chef Tom Colicchio’s refined American restaurant tucked inside the landmark Beekman Hotel in Lower Manhattan’s historic Temple Court building. The menu is rooted in seasonal, ingredient-driven cooking, with standout dishes such as Tuna Crudo, Ricotta Agnolotti, Spanish Octopus, and Snake River Wagyu Denver Steak. Food & Beverage Director Isabella Fitzgerald curates an elegant wine list and classic-meets-modern cocktail program to complement the menu’s depth and richness.
Bar Primi Penn District (Midtown) The restaurant will be celebrating Mother’s Day by offering its brunch service, also available on their expansive, sun-soaked patio starting from 11:30 AM, featuring favorites including their Egg Sandwich made with mortadella and smoky scamorza, Breakfast Spaghetti, topped with a poached farm egg, and Blue Crab Benedict. Brunch cocktails include their Primi Pronto Tower, ideal for sharing and Bloody Mary. The pricing is a la carte. Bar Primi is located in the heart of Penn District from NoHo Hospitality and Chef Andrew Carmellini, the group behind adored and sought-after New York restaurants such as Locanda Verde, The Dutch, and Lafayette. Bar Primi Penn District is a unique Italian oasis conveniently located near New York City landmark attractions, completed with an expansive indoor dining space and a lush outdoor dining area hidden away from the bustling neighborhood.
Honey Badger (Brooklyn) They are offering a thoughtful, immersive dining experience led by chefs Fjölla Sheholli and Junayd Juman, centered on a “wild-to-table” philosophy that celebrates the flavors of the Northeast. The ever-evolving tasting menu is shaped by micro-seasons, highlighting hyper-seasonal, foraged, and locally sourced ingredients, with dishes prepared through techniques like fermentation, curing, and smoking. Guests can enhance the experience with curated wine, tea, or signature water pairings—including rare waters sourced from ancient aquifers and Norwegian fjords—making for a unique and memorable way to celebrate before Mother’s Day. The price is $295 per person. This wild-to-table restaurant rooted in the flavors and terroir of the Northeast from husband-wife chef duo Fjölla Sheholli and Junayd Juman that delivers a deeply regional perspective on modern American dining through boundary-pushing, sustainable menus guided by a nose-to-tail and root-to-shoot philosophy that honors every part of each ingredient, sourced from a dedicated network of foragers, farmers, hunters, and fishermen from Labrador to Pennsylvania. After being closed to redesign the dining room, Honey Badger re-opens with a new tasting menu, water and tea pairings, and a fermentation lab.
Cathédrale (East Village) Cathédrale will be celebrating Mother’s Day with a prix fixe brunch from 11:00am-3:00pm and a prix fixe dinner, from 5:00pm-9:00pm. Classic brunch dishes, including Avocado Tartine, Eggs Tout de Maison, the signature Potato Chip Omelette with caviar, and Buvette Steak ‘Au Poivre, with dinner seeing dishes like Hamachi Crudo, Wagyu Steak Tartare, Rotisserie Chicken a la Mourtarde, Maine Lobster Rigatoni, and more. The price is $125 prix fixe menu all day and $35 Kids’ Menu (under 10 years old). Cathedrale is a French and coastal Mediterranean restaurant from Tao Group Hospitality, led by Vice President of Culinary Development, Jason Hall. Grounded in classic French technique and Mediterranean flavors, the menu features everything from fresh pastas and locally sourced seafood to a dedicated rotisserie program and premium steaks. Executive Pastry Chef Erin Cayaban leads the pastry program, which includes in-house breads such as Pain de Mie and Warm Epi Baguette, and classic French desserts. Overseen by Senior Director of Beverage, Nikki McCutcheon, the beverage program centers on a 400-plus bottle wine list with particular depth in Burgundy and Bordeaux alongside an expansive Champagne selection, which has earned Cathédrale the Best of Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator since 2022.
Chez Nous at The Marlton Hotel (West Village) Chez Nous will celebrate Mother’s Day with some special menu items for that day, including a half dozen oysters with a glass of Champagne, a Poached Maine Lobster Breakfast Sandwich (served on brioche with avocado, tarragon aioli, and Bibb lettuce), and a Chocolate Crémeux with salted caramel for dessert. The pricing is a la carte. Chez Nous is a Parisian-inspired restaurant located within The Marlton Hotel in the West Village, blending classic French technique with a warm, design-forward setting. Known for its intimate dining rooms—including the skylit Mural Room featuring a striking Cecily Brown artwork—the restaurant offers a refined yet approachable menu rooted in seasonal ingredients and timeless French flavors.
Threes Brewing (Multiple locations across NYC-Gowanus, Greenpoint, Governor’s Island) Threes Brewing will celebrate Mother’s Day by offering a special discounted drink for moms, giving guests a chance to enjoy the brewery’s rotating selection of beers at a reduced price in honor of the holiday. The pricing is a la carte with special pricing just for moms. This Brooklyn-born brewery known for crafting approachable beers that balance simplicity with complexity, from flagship favorites like Vliet and Logical Conclusion to rotating seasonal releases. With locations across Gowanus, Greenpoint, and beyond, each space serves as a vibrant community hub, hosting live music, events, and gatherings while offering a dynamic beverage program rooted in innovation and tradition.
Restaurant Yuu (Greenpoint, Brooklyn) A Michelin-starred restaurant in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, will open on a Sunday for the first time since it originally opened to serve a Mother’s Day menu, specially crafted by Founder-Owner and Executive Chef Yuu Shimano, that is a labor of love and gratitude honoring all mothers. The multi-course French omakase tasting menu will feature signature dishes such as Caviar Brioche, a house-made brioche with cream cheese and Petrossian caviar (20g or 40g), along with other specials such as Uni Risotto, Fish and Abalone Pie, and Wagyu Filet Steak with Périgueux sauce. Restaurant Yuu’s wine and sake program offers a curated selection of legacy labels and boutique producers, with two pairing options available: a classic Wine & Sake Pairing and an elevated Noble Wine & Sake Pairing, both designed to complement their seasonal tasting menu. Mother’s Day service will feature two seatings: 12:30 pm and 5:30 pm.
Berimbau Brazilian Table (Midtown) The restaurant invites families to celebrate with the lively and memorable taste of Brazil. Treat Mom to an exotic dining experience filled with authentic flavors, the smooth rhythms of live Bossa Nova, chic interior ambiance, and the warm, attentive hospitality Brazil is known for. In addition to the á la carte dinner menu, which features beloved classics like Pão de Queijo, Feijoada, and Bobó de Siri, Bib Michelin-recognized Chef Victor Vasconcellos has created an exclusive lineup of Mother’s Day specials inspired by comforting, home-style Brazilian cooking such as Bolinho de Arroz, a traditional rice fritter with rhubarb and onion relish; Bacalahu, salted cod and leek phyllo tart, topped with black olive aioli and a spring salad; and Quindim, a classic Brazilian dessert, rich egg yolk custard with shredded coconut and vanilla. Raise a glass to Mom with Berimbau’s signature Caipirinha, Leblon cachaça and lime, or a glass of Bom Dia, a dry, sparkling wine from Serra Gaúcha, Brazil. Mother’s Day hours are from 11:30 am – 4 pm and 5 pm – 9:30 pm.
MangoSeed (Flatbush, Brooklyn) The restaurant has been a staple for nearly three decades. On Mother’s Day, it is available all day from 11:00 am – 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm, serving a Caribbean fusion menu rooted in scratch-made, soulful cooking and high-quality ingredients, all set within a cozy dining space. In celebration of Mother’s Day, all reservations will receive a complimentary gift bag featuring a body scrub and a 10% discount coupon for a Brooklyn Bathhouse day pass. MangoSeed’s signature dishes include Fish Tacos, original jerk-seasoned salmon on a house made beet tortilla, topped with guacamole and picked cabbage; Whole Fish of Orata or Branzino, offered grilled or jerked, with spinach and a touch of truffle oil; and Spicy Caesar Salad, romaine, anchovies, spicy Caesar dressing and option to add jerk, fried chicken, or salmon. Completing the menu, MangoSeed’s cocktail program features refreshing drinks inspired by timeless films like Crooklyn, Casablanca, and the Honey Sidecar.
Restaurant DANIEL (Upper East Side) Chef Daniel Boulud’s iconic flagship restaurant DANIEL is planning a very special Mother’s Day offering, including a refined three-course menu showcasing the freshest spring flavors and elegantly reimagined dishes of the season. Menu highlights include Japanese Yellowtail and Modesto, California Squab Consommé, Green-Walk Hatchery Trout, and Scharbauer Ranch Wagyu Beef Striploin. The three-course prix-fixe menu with choices is $275 per person with optional wine pairing for $135. It is $95 for children under 10 years old. On Mother’s Day, the menu will be served from 11:30 am to 8:15 pm.
Hutong NYC (Midtown East) This Mother’s Day, Hutong New York presents a limited-time culinary offering designed to bring guests together in celebration. Inspired by the tradition of gathering over a shared table, the restaurant introduces special dishes that reflect its Northern Chinese roots and approach to seasonal dining. The offering features a selection of Mother’s Day specials, including a Lobster Roll with cabbage, mushroom, and caviar, Sizzling Fenjiu Chicken with leeks, dry chili, and garlic, and Wok-fried Lobster with red lantern chili, scallion, and ginger. Guests can also celebrate with the Bubbles and Bao Brunch menu, available on both Saturday and Sunday.
Benjamin Steakhouse (Midtown East) Founded nearly twenty years ago, family-owned Benjamin Steakhouse is known for its exceptional cuisine, attentive service, and elegant setting. Owners Benjamin Prelvukaj and Benjamin Sinanaj pride themselves on treating every guest like family. This Mother’s Day, the restaurant will offer a three-course prix fixe menu, with entrées including Scottish Salmon, Chicken Parmesan and the restaurant’s iconic Bone-In Ribeye. The three-course prix-fixe menu is $124.95. It will be served on Mother's Day from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Jams (Midtown) This Mother’s Day, treat Mom to a fresh and feel-good brunch at Jams, located inside 1 Hotel Central Park. Known for its seasonal, ingredient-driven approach, Jams is serving up special dishes like Whipped Ricotta Buttermilk Pancakes with berry compote, Fried Chicken & Hot Honey Biscuit, and Mediterranean Eggs with spiced lemon yogurt and chili crisp, alongside its signature spring brunch favorites. Pair it all with the Garden Party cocktail, a mix of vodka, St-Germain, and berry purée, for a bright, celebratory sip that feels just right for the occasion. Mother’s Day brunch will be available from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Barbuto Brooklyn (Brooklyn) Celebrate Mother’s Day with a lively waterfront brunch at Barbuto Brooklyn, nestled along Brooklyn Bridge Park with stunning views of the Manhattan skyline. From Jonathan Waxman, the James Beard Award–winning chef behind the beloved Barbuto, the menu brings together California-Italian flavors and seasonal ingredients in dishes like the Pizza Uova with baked eggs, bacon, and salsa verde, alongside sweet favorites like the Gofre I Fruta topped with berries, honey, and yogurt. With spritzes and bellinis flowing and a vibrant, sunlit setting, it’s an effortlessly festive way to toast Mom by the water. Mother’s Day brunch will be served from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
