Broadway star Patti LuPone, a Tony and Olivier Award winner, comes to the Washington, D.C.-area to perform her hit concert, "Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda," at the Music Center at Strathmore. On Friday, October 5 at 8PM, LuPone will perform songs from musicals she could have played, should have played, did play and will play-including Hair, Bye Bye Birdie, Funny Girl, West Side Story, Peter Pan, Evita and Anything Goes.

Tickets are $32, $44, $56, $72, $82.  For more information or to purchase tickets, call 301-581-5100 or visit www.strathmore.org.  Sponsored by Arlene and Bob Hillerson.

LuPone debuted "Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda" to a sold-out audience at New York's Carnegie Hall in February 2002.  Recently, she starred as Mama Rose in New York City Center's production of Gypsy and one-woman show, "The Lady with the Torch."  The Theatre Hall of Fame Inductee has been featured in dozens of shows including the Broadway hit Sweeney Todd and her Tony Award-winning turn in Evita; and received an Emmy nomination for her work on the television show "Frasier."

The concert was conceived and directed by Scott Wittman with dialogue by Jeffrey Richman and LuPone.  LuPone performs under the musical direction of Chris Fenwick, the current musical director of the Broadway revival of Grease.  Fenwick was also the musical director for the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of The Pajama Game starring Harry Connick, Jr.  The concert is performed in memory of its co-creator Dick Gallagher.
