Love Scenes is a sexy, touching and humorous look at gay love in the city. Supported by a pulsating soundtrack, Moe Bertran takes on six eclectic characters including a twenty year old street hustler falling for his kinky older mentor, a fifty-something martini drinker whose long time partner wants to have an open sexual relationship, a Latino activist whose lover left him to marry a woman, and a drag diva who's giving up her search for a rich husband to settle for true love. It's a realistic and universal look at something we can all relate to: falling in and out of love.

Moe Bertran and David Pumo are returning to New York after a sold-out run in Los Angeles. Earlier, they have performed lauded productions in New York at the Midtown International Theatre Festival and at CenterStage NY and at Sande Shurin. They will be performing in San Francisco in the fall. This is the same team (with director Fogel) that recently gave us Auntie Mayhem, winner of the 2004 Off-Off Broadway Review Award for Excellence and nominated for the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation Award. Bertran is known to audiences for his work in television and films, including the HBO movie Prison Stories; Women on the Inside, and his staring role in the cult film, Infinity. L.A. audiences know him for his one-man hit, Street Boy, which played at the Flight Theatre.

Director Donna Jean Fogel's recent directing work includes the acclaimed C.W. Post production of Flesh and Blood, Lobby Hero at Theatre at St. Mary's as well as at The Barrow Group and Release also at The Barrow Group.
