Following last year's sold out benefit, the Southland Theatre Artists Goodwill Event (STAGE) has announced the All-Star cast* participating in the 31st annual gala, "To Broadway, From Hollywood....With Love," being held on Saturday, May 9th, at 7:30pm at the historic Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, CA. David Galligan directs and serving as Musical Director for his first time is Brad Ellis.

A vibrant convergence of stage and cinematic material, "To Broadway, From Hollywood...With Love," promises to be a spectacular event highlighting many of the most memorable musical moments created for America's Great White Way that were derived from Hollywood films. Stars of cinema, Broadway and television scheduled to appear in the concert that raises critical funds for AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA) include*: Obba Babatunde, Adrienne Baron, Mary Jo Catlett, Carole Cook, James Darren, Loretta Devine, Nancy Dussault, David Engel, Julie Garnye, Thea Gill, Jason Graae, Danny Gurwin, Gregory Harrison, Sally Kellerman, Jon Maher, Melissa Manchester, James C. Mulligan, Patricia Morison, Robert Morse, Jake Simpson, Sally Struthers, Donna Theodore, Lisa Vroman and Adam Wylie. Additional casting to be announced.

STAGE is the longest-running annual HIV/AIDS fundraiser in the world, began in 1984. To date, STAGE has raised more than $5 million for HIV/AIDS organizations in the Southland, CA area. Co-created by Michael Kearns, the late James Carroll Pickett, David Galligan and Susan Obrow, STAGE continues to be a vital and essential fundraiser more than three decades later. David Galligan has staged and directed all 31 productions.

Funds raised through STAGE support APLA programs including its Vance North Necessities of Life Program food pantries; freestanding and mobile dental clinics; in-home health services; housing assistance; HIV prevention and testing efforts; and a range of other APLA services that thousands of Angelenos affected by HIV/AIDS depend on. STAGE is among the most enduring and valuable sources of private support for the agency's HIV/AIDS care, prevention and advocacy work. www.apla.org
