If there is one thing that's certain about Netflix's award-winning ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK, it's that should the show ever get a musical episode or (dare we say) even a Broadway spin-off, the cast would have no problem making the transition.

Just last week it was announced that Emmy Award-nominated actress Laverne Cox will play Dr. Frank-N-Furter in THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, which is set to air Fall 2016 on FOX. That got us thinking about all of the other actresses of the OITNB ensemble who have already made names for themselves onstage. From hopeful hippies to talking teapots, these ladies have taken on a wide variety of Broadway roles, whether you realized it or not! Below, we celebrate the stage work of some of Litchfield's finest!

Annie Golden (Norma)

Before she was evryone's favorite mute, she had many Broadway credits under her belt, including HAIR, ON THE TOWN, THE FULL MONTY, XANADU, and even last season's VIOLET.

Danielle Brooks (Taystee)

She may not have made her Broadway debut yet, but based on the performance below, we're confident that she's going to kill it in THE COLOR PURPLE.

Kate Mulgrew (Red)

With two Broadway shows on her resume (EQUUS and WHITE LIARS AND BLACK COMEDY), she also has a HUGE set of off Broadway and regional theatre credits to her name.

Beth Fowler (Sister Jane)

A two-time Tony nominee (for SWEENY TODD and THE BOY FROM OZ) she has perhaps starred in more Broadway productions than any of the other OITNB ladies. Other credits include: A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, PETER PAN, BABY, and course, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.

Lea Delaria (Big Boo)

A regular walker of the red carpets for Broadway opening nights, she has also made her fair share of theatre appearances in such Broadway shows as ON THE TOWN and THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW.

Elizabeth Rodriquez (Diaz)

She might only have one Broadway show under her belt (THE MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT) but it earned her a Tony nomination in 2011.

Kimiko Glenn (Soso)

She hasn't broken through to Broadway yet, but she starred in the first national tour of SPRING AWAKENING and appeared in the Public Theater's musical version of LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST in 2013.

Dale Soules (Frieda)

She too made a splash on the stage before her time in OITNB, starring in HAIR, THE MAGIC SHOW and HANDS ON A HARDBODY, amongst many others.

Uzo Aduba (Suzanne 'Crazy Eyes')

Starring in both CORAM BOY and GODSPELL before she earned her OITNB Emmys, she's a Broadway baby at heart!
