Liz Larsen will be among the stars performing in a free reading of the musical The Times, which will be presented at CAP21's The Shop (18 West 18th Street, 6th floor) on March 6th at 7:30 PM.

Joining Tony Award-nominee Larsen (Bingo, Hairspray, The Most Happy Fella) in the reading will be Kathy Fitzgerald (The Producers), Lisa Yuen (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Jordan Leeds (I Love You Because) and Patrick Quinn (A Class Act).  Presented as part of the Barbara Wolff Monday Night Reading Series, it will be directed by Greg Ganakas and feature musical direction by Brad Ross.  The show, which is an hour and 50 minutes without intermission, features music by Ross, as well, with book and lyrics by Joe Keenan.

The show concerns "Liz and Ted, an actress and a writer living in New York City. Unfolding over 18 years, the bittersweet comedy charts their successes and setbacks and the effects these have on their marriage," according to press notes.

The Times was seen at the Long Wharf Theater in 1993 after workshops at the Long Wharf and Manhattan Theatre Club.
