Lara Paquette's solo show, FANGIRL, had its world premiere at the Emerging Artists Theater New Work Series in 2014. Paquette, who serves as both writer and performer, will be returning to the New Work Series to present a newly revamped FANGIRL on Sunday, March 6 at 5:00pm.

FANGIRL is a cabaret-style entertainment experience for musical theater lovers who've ever spent hours waiting at stage doors, gushed over signed Playbills, or swooned over their favorite stars of the stage. Join Lara as she unapologetically divulges her lifelong devotion to Broadway--from Andrew Lloyd Webber to Footloose: The Musical, from Stephen Schwartz to a good ole fashioned tap dance--and experience musical theater as only a true fangirl can!

The creative team includes direction by Danielle Quisenberry, music direction and accompaniment by Carl Haan, and tap choreography by Ray Hesselink.

Emerging Artists New Work Series is a three-week developmental intensive that provides artists of different disciplines the opportunity to present a "work in progress" with audience feedback. Works developed in the series have gone on to successful runs at FringeNYC, NYMF, Edinburg Fringe, Adelaide Fringe, numerous nationwide and international productions, and Off-Broadway shows.

Performances take place at TADA! Youth Theater, 15 W. 28th Street, 2nd Floor, (Between Broadway and 5th Avenue) New York, NY 10001. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2499575 or at the door (cash only).

Show Date: Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 5:00pm.

Running Time: 50 minutes
