Kritzerland, the CD label for theatre music founded by producer Bruce Kimmel, is releasing two new CDs. Both will be available for pre-order on the Kritzerland website on March 12th, with an official release on April 10th.
Among the songs included were Stephen Schwartz' "Magic To Do, "Corner Of The Sky," and "No Time At All," Arthur Schwartz' "Haunted Heart," "That's Entertainment," and "By Myself," and Strouse's "Applause," "The Telephone Hour," "Once Upon a Time," and "A Lot of Living To Do." The CD will feature songs from shows such as Dance A Little Closer, Annie, Bye Bye Birdie, Annie Warbucks, The Bandwagon, Pippin, The Baker's Wife, Children of Eden, Rags, A Tree Grows In Brooklyn, and Golden Boy.Kevin Spirtas' new one man show Night and Days was captured live in a benefit concert at the El Portal Theater, in front of a full-house. The CD will serve as "a wonderful tour through the high points of his career," and will feature songs such as "Night and Day," "I've Never Been In Love Before," a Movie Musical Medley, a Mega-Musical Medley, "Sometimes A Day Goes By," "Somewhere," "I Can Do That," "Les Days (Of Our Lives)," and "All I Care About Is Love."
Spirtas gained fame as Dr. Craig Wesley on "Days Of Our Lives," and stood by for Hugh Jackman in The Boy From Oz; he currently co-stars in the Las Vegas production of Hairspray.
