"The Battery's Down," a new online television series, will premiere its fifth episode this Sunday, June 1, featuring a slew of Broadway guest stars.  Filmed in a style similar to "Curb Your Enthusiasm" or "The Office," "The Battery's Down" chronicles the life of young actor Jake Wilson in New York City.

With a theme song composed by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Edges, Johnny and the Sprites), each episode is written and directed by Wilson and also features a new song by a talented musical theatre writer or writing team, including Bryan Louiselle (High School Musical, High School Musical 2), Laurence O'Keefe (Legally Blonde, Bat Boy!), David Kirshenbaum (Vanities, Summer of '42), Josh Salzman and Ryan Cunningham (I Love You Because), Michael Weiner and Alan Zachary (Secondhand Lions), and Ryan Scott Oliver and Kirsten A. Guenther (Alive at Ten).

The fifth episode, entitled "Deaf, Dumb, and Blonde" will guest star Leslie Kritzer (A Catered Affair, Legally Blonde), Mary Faber (Saved, Avenue Q), Susanne Layton, Laurence O'Keefe, Max Von Essen (Les Miserables), and Jennifer Cody (Shrek The Musical, Urinetown) making a return appearance as Nancy Maguire.  Also appearing in the episode are casting powerhouses Bernard Telsey and Tara Rubin.

Cortney Wolfson (Les Miserables), Dani Spieler (Legally Blonde), Michael Kadin Craig (Altar Boyz), and Nina Sturtz will once again join Wilson as series regulars for Episode 5.  The episode will feature an original song sung by Leslie Kritzer: "With Your Hands," with music by Laurence O'Keefe and lyrics by Kirsten A. Guenther.
