The Man in the White Suit, a workshop production written by Urinetown's Greg Kotis and Mark Hollmann will be featured June 24-26th as part of New York Stage and Film's 2005 summer season.

Kerry Butler (Bat Boy, Hairspray) will co-star with fellow Little Shop of Horrors alum Hunter Foster (Urinetown, The Producers) in Greg Kotis and Mark Hollmann's first musical offering since Urinetown. Also set to star is Michael Rupert (Pippin, Falsettos) with David Petrarca directing.

Kotis and Hollmann both scored Tonys (Best Book, Music and Lyrics) for Urinetown in 2002, a show which also brought Foster acclaim. "The Man in the White Suit" will run one weekend only (June 24-26) and is based on the 1951 comedic film which starred Alec Guinness.

The premise for the film is an eccentric scientist who invents a fabric that never gets dirty, setting off a crisis in the textile industry. Foster stars as Sidney Stratton and Butler the daughter of a textile giant (played by Rupert).
