Join some of TV and Broadway's finest on April 18 at 7:30 at The Cutting Room in a new series of performances created to help raise awareness and money for the children of the Shanti Bhavan Children's Project. Broadway's Babies first concert will feature:

Gabrielle Ruiz (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, If/Then, In The Heights), Kelli Barrett (Dr. Zhivago, Wicked, Baby It's You, The Royal Family), Matt Bogart (Jersey Boys, Aida, Civil War, Smokey Joes, Miss Saigon) , Omar Lopez-Ceparo (On Your Feet, American Idiot, Capeman), Yasmin Alers (On Your Feet, Rent, Capetown, The Rocky Horror Show), Maia N'kenge Wilson (Book of Mormon, Rent), Aneesh Sheth (Southern Comfort, Bombay Dreams), Mary Page Nance (Finding Neverland), Natalie Caruncho (On Your Feet), Mia Gentile (Kinky Boots), Colby Lewis (Gotta Dance), Jessica Crouch (Broadway's Next Sensation winner 2015), and Marla Louissaint (Jimmy Awards Best Actress Winner 2015).

When we often feel powerless about how we can lend a helping hand to a world in need, Kate Pfaffl (War Horse), and Ben Houghton (American Ballet Theater) have created an avenue for New Yorkers and Broadway performers to help those who need it most, by simply doing what they do best: singing their hearts out on stage!

Pfaffl and Houghton joined forces in Tamil Nadu, India as teaching artists through ASTEP (Artists Striving to End Poverty). They met teaching musical theater at Shanti Bhavan, a boarding school comprised of over 200 children ranging in ages from 4-18 who come from families struggling with some of the worst poverty and discrimination in India. Shanti Bhavan has given the power of education to children who otherwise would have been destined to never rise above their caste, reversing the perpetual cycle of poverty. All funds raised from the evening will go toward operating costs, arts funding, and the development of a scholarship program to help bring volunteer teaching artists to the school, upon which Shanti Bhavan heavily depends.

If you're looking for the way that you can help make a difference in the world, this is your chance. Help these beautiful children have a future, as you watch Broadway stars share their voices and hearts to shine brightly in their honor.
