As previously announced, Red Bull Theater will present two RUSSIAN READINGS by Vladimir Nabokov and Alexander Ostrovsky on December 9 and December 16 as part of its OBIE Award-winning Revelation Readings Series. Today, the all-star casts for the two readings have been announced, boasting a roster which includes Jonathan Groff, Tovah Feldshuh, Stephen Spinella, and more.

On December 9, Red Bull will host THE TRAGEDY OF MR. MORN reading, a New York premiere of a play by Nabokov. A dazzling verse romance by the precocious 24-year old author, responding to Revolution with a bloody tale of desire, the production is translated by Thomas Karshan and Anastasia Tolstoy and directed by Ethan McSweeny. The reading will feature Tala Ashe, Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Corey Hawkins, Aaron Clifton Moten, David Greenspan, Tony Plana. In addition, a post-play discussion with Thomas Karshan will be held.

Next up is TOO CLEVER BY HALF or "The Diary of a Scoundrel," on December 16. By Ostrovsky and translated by Rodney Ackland, and directed by Daniel Sullivan, the show is an anarchic, side-splitting satire about a smooth-talking opportunist and his ruthless climb to the top. The cast includes Marylouise Burke, Jonathan Groff, Stephen Spinella and Tovah Feldshuh.
