Over the past two weeks on Industry Pro, we've discussed welcoming the audience back into our seats in a socially distant way (with Barrington Stage Co) and how to get fully produced musicals up on their feet via livestream (with Seacoast Rep). This week, we'll tackle another aspect of theatre we may have taken for granted before the current Covid-19 crisis - cross-company collaboration.

We have seen a lot of conversation happening across companies, and it wasn't strange to see co-productions and programs like rolling world premieres when we were able to invite audiences through our theatres doors. But what does it look like for companies to collaborate in the era of covid-19? This week, we'll be joined by members of the team from Rude Grooms in NYC and Seven Stages Shakespeare Company in Portsmouth, NH to discuss their Shakespeare Happy Hours program - a collaboration between both companies.

We're looking forward to continuing the conversation about how we as live entertainment producers can begin the process of finding the new normal for our programming and productions. If there are other topics that you're interested in learning more about, don't hesitate to let us know! Or, if your company has found success with something specific, let us know about that as well. We want to work with all of you to continue navigating this moment as an industry.
