Dreamgirls star and recent Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson told Access Hollywood last night what she's eyeing as one of her next roles, and it's a part in the upcoming Jackie Robinson story, being developed and produced by Robert Redford (who is also expected to be in the film, playing the Brooklyn Dodger's General Manager.)

The biography is still untitled at this time, but Robinson told Access Hollywood that the story "tells of greatness and our history; that means something to me."

Hudson, who rose to fame as a finalist on "American Idol" and has appeared onstage in the Actors' Fund concert of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, has also picked up a multitude of critical awards for her turn as Effie.   It was recently announced that she will record her debut solo album with legendary producer Clive Davis this March.
