Jekyll & Hyde: Resurrection, a brand new studio concept recording, will be available on GlobalVision Records starting this Tuesday, August 22.

"We brought new flavors and a new approach to the songs we love -- with 16  years of living with J&H behind us, and no 'outside' influences -- no staging, no light cues, we're not trying to represent any physical production -- we just recorded the songs in a musically interesting and  exciting way, with singers we love and the flexibility of the recording studio. The way that we hear it now, how Frank and I always wanted this score to sound like, given the opportunity," writes Jeremy Roberts in a press statement.  With Frank Wildhorn (who collaborated with Leslie Bricusse on the score of Jekyll & Hyde), Roberts co-founded GlobalVision.

"The recording, orchestrations, and arrangements are 100% new, and not related to the concert tour, or any staged version. This is a 71-minute 'listening experience - we simply went to the studio every day, and made the
best recording of each song that we could," he added.

The recording stars Rob Evan, Kate Shindle and Brandi Burkhardt--all of whom have been seen in the popular Jekyll & Hyde in Concert tour.  The CD is arranged, orchestrated and performed by Roberts and produced by Wildhorn and Roberts.

Based on the Robert Louis Stevenson classic about a genteel scientist with a murderous and depraved alter ego, Jekyll & Hyde opened at the Plymouth Theatre on April 28th, 1997 to run for 1,543 performances.

The recording will be available in most major stores, and also online at www.globalvisionrecords.com.  A karaoke version of the album is also in the works; details are forthcoming.
