The New Year brings a host of wonderful programs and events to Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum and it all starts in January!
BPMM Adventures: Great ExplorationsMonday, January 17, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Why spend the day in your house when you can spend it in ours? Solve mansion history mysteries and learn about life in the 19th-century with an exciting day of creative crafts, games, and more. Dr. Robert DeCandido presents a Winter Owl Walk & Talk. Also known as "Birding Bob" to legions of New Yorkers who avidly follow him around city parks looking for our feathered friends, the dynamic doctor will answer your every owl question. Learn about which owls are spotted most often in Pelham Bay Park this time of year, and then, fortified with hot cocoa, follow the maestro around the grounds as he attempts to summon these amazing creatures from their treetops.
