Jane White Performs at Feinstein's, March 13; Linda Lavin Postpones

Jane White, who originated the role of Queen Aggravain in Once Upon a Mattress, has added her one-night-only engagement to Feinstein's at the Regency's starry 2006 line-up. She will perform on March 13th at 8:30 PM.

White will offer songs from shows in which she has performed, contemporary songs and standards such as Irving Berlin's "Harlem on My Mind" and Harold Arlen's "Ain't It De Truth." The evening will be presented as part of Feinstein's Monday Night Series.

Linda Lavin, who was previously announced to perform at Feinstein's from March 7th through 11th, has postponed her act, however.

White most recently appeared on Broadway as Solange LaFitte in the revival of Follies. Other Broadway credits include The Cuban Thing, a 1958 production of Jane Eyre, Take a Giant Step, The Climate of Eden, Razzle Dazzle and Strange Fruit.

This season, Feinstein's at the Regency will also play host to Tony Danza, Faith Prince and Tom Wopat, Linda Eder, Kitty Carlisle Hart, Michael Feinstein, Linda Eder, Diahann Carroll, Rebecca Luker and James Naughton for longer stints this season. The Monday Night Series will also feature jazz pianist and singer George Wein (March 30th), cabaret singer Tony DeSare (April 3rd), married performers Jason Danieley (The Full Monty, Candide) and Marin Mazzie (Kiss Me, Kate, Ragtime) on May 1st and May 8th, and Brandon Cutrell on June 5th.
