Inside Broadway, the acclaimed theater for young audiences celebrating its 25th anniversary during 2006-2007, will present Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella on February 3, 4 and 10, 2007 at 1 PM and 3:30 PM at the Florence Gould Hall.

Originally written for and presented on television starring Julie Andrews in 1957, Inside Broadway's production will feature suchsongs as "In My Own Little Corner," "Impossible" and "Ten Minutes Ago," in a special adaptation for young audiences created by the Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization.

"Founded in 1982 by Michael Presser at the invitation of The Shubert Organization's late President Bernard Jacobs, Inside Broadway created the popular student ticket program for Broadway's Cats.  It subsequently developed into a professional presenter of unique 50-minute versions of classic Broadway musicals for young audiences.  Recent productions include Smokey Joe's Café, Kiss Me Kate, The Pirates of Penzance, Sophisticated Ladies, You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, On the Town and last spring's Bye Bye Birdie," according to press notes.

"Presser conceived the special concept of the Weekend Family Series Performances to provide New York parents with an opportunity to introduce their children to musical theater at affordable prices.  The productions are uniquely directed for children, and include such activities as free face-painting and makeup demonstration an hour before the show, an opportunity to meet the cast afterwards for autographs and photos, and a free Study Buddy for each child containing background information and educational games."  The company's productions have also toured in New York City schools and have been presented in public performances.

These performances are supported in part by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, the New York State Council On the Arts, and the New York City Council/Christine Quinn, Speaker.

The Florence Gould Hall is at 55 East 59th Street in Manhattan, and tickets are $15 and $25.  For information, call (212) 245-0710.
