Earlier this month, the 2015 Tony nominees gathered to meet the press and BroadwayWorld was on hand for the big day. Throughout the month, we will continue our Tonys coverage by bringing you exclusive photos by acclaimed photographer Walter McBride! Below, meet Alex Sharp, Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play nominee for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.

Alex Sharp was born in London but grew up traveling constantly. He closed out his time at Juilliard (from which he graduates end of May) playing Hally in Athol Fugard's Master Harold...and the Boys, while simultaneously directing a production of A Clockwork Orange the play, which he also adapted. Alex is excited to be making his Broadway debut.

Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming will co-host the 69th Annual Tony Awards® on Sunday, June 7. The show will be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City from 8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT, on the CBS Television Network. The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
