'In The Heights' Releases Two-Disc Cast Recording Today

Nominated for 13 TONY Awards -- including Best Musical and Best Original Score (Music and/or Lyrics) -- 'In The Heights' features Latin, Salsa and Hip-Hop-infused music, conceived and written by emerging superstar Lin-Manuel Miranda. Ghostlight Records will release the OCR TODAY, June 3rd, as a 23-track, two-CD package, complete with a 68-page booklet containing cast photos and song lyrics.  The double album was produced by Andres Levin (proclaimed"the master chef of Urban fusion" by The LA Times,) and by Ghostlight President Kurt Deutsch. 

Principal cast members of 'In The Heights' will celebrate the release of their Original Broadway Cast recording with a Thursday, June 5th, in-store performance at 5pm, at Virgin Megastore in Times Square, 1540 Broadway, at 46th Street. The special event will feature songs performed by cast members. A post-performance CD signing will feature all 11 principal cast members.

'In The Heights' is currently playing at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in New York City. The show's three lead producers, off and on Broadway, are Kevin McCollum,Jeffrey Seller and Jill Furman.  McCollum and Seller are also the producers of Rent and Avenue Q.
