IS IT TOO LATE NOW TO SAY SORRY? to Make World Premiere at Edinburgh Fringe

Award-winning theatremaker and director of musicals, Adam Lenson (Cable Street - Southwark Playhouse, West End, Broadway; Flyby - Southwark Playhouse; Anything That We Wanted to Be - Summerhall, 2023) will return to Summerhall with a brand new solo show, Is it too late now to say sorry?. Fusing storytelling, music, memoir, and journalistic exposé, Adam explores the way we apologise, the pain we carry, and the opportunities for healing amidst all the damage. Performances will run 6 - 31 August.

Is it too late now to say sorry? is a deeply personal, hopeful and moving show from a man who used to spend too much time on Twitter.

Moving from synagogue to school playground, social media spats to family dinners, Adam lays his apology-worthy moments out on stage, critically analysing himself and, by extension, all of us, through his characteristic blend of witty storytelling, synthy songs, and creative tech nous.

Co-created by Hannah Moss and directed by Daniel Goldman, Is it too late now to say sorry? is a life-affirming odyssey of the apology, covering everything from generational trauma to a dissection of the celebrity apology, from Justin Bieber's view on Anne Frank's ‘Belieber' credentials to the differences between Jewish and Christian repentance.
