Another contestant was sent home on tonight's results show of American Idol. The night kicked off with a performance from the four ladies. They sang Crazy in Love. As always, they sounded great together.

After the commercial break, Jimmy also shared his comments. Like most weeks, there were some general disagreements between Jimmy and the judges.

Season 7 Idol winner David Cook debuted his new single Laying me Low. His first single This Loud Morning was very successful. This one should get high on the charts as well. Will.i.am also performed a song from the upcoming Great Gatsby soundtrack. Right after that, this weeks mentor Hay Connick Jr. sang Every Man Should Know.

It was then time to reveal who would be going home. Angie was the the first to appear on the big screen. She was safe. The next one revealed to be safe was Candice. Kree and Amber received the lowest number of votes. After the break, Ryan announced that Amber woul unfortunately be leaving the competition.

Next week, the three remaining contestants will be visiting each of their hometowns. It will also be another week closer to the finale.
