Just yesterday, it was announced that Tony®, Emmy®, and two-time Golden Globe® Award Nominee Matthew Morrison will return to Broadway to star in Finding Neverland asJ.M. Barrie. Morrison created the role of Barrie in early workshops of the Broadway-bound musical. Finding Neverland will begin previews on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street), and will now open on Wednesday, April 15. "We couldn't be more thrilled to see Matthew returning to his Broadway roots and back to the role he created in our workshop," Mr. Weinstein said. "He is wildly talented and a true leading man."

Mr. Morrison has previously starred on Broadway in Hairspray, South Pacific, and The Light in the Piazza (for which he was nominated for a 2005 Tony® Award). He is known to television audiences for his Emmy® and Golden Globe® nominated role as Will Schuester on the hit Fox show, "Glee." Morrison has also released two studio albums since 2011, with the most recent being Where It All Began - a collection of standards, many first made famous in Broadway musicals.

This amazing news has us already counting down the days until Morrison's return to the stage, and it got us thinking about all of the reasons that we can't wait for his homecoming. In case you need a reminder, check out just ten of many reasons to love Matthew Morrison below!

1. He's the epitome of a Broadway leading man.

Long before his GLEE days, Morrison was leading Broadway companies, in such shows as Hairspray (Link), The Light in the Piazza (Fabrizio), an South Pacific (Joseph Cable), as well as roles in Footloose and The Rocky Horror Show.

2. He looks like a Ken doll.

Need we say more? From his adorable smirk to his luscious locks, who wouldn't droll over that perfection!

3. He has the voice of an angel.

His recent years on television have proven that he can belt out a pop hit like a pro, but don't forget about his equally amazing, more legit sound!

4. He can keep up with the kids.

As everyone's favorite teacher, 'Mr. Schuester', Morrison has created a character that is just as thrilling to watch as his younger, student counterparts. Watch out Rachel Berry!

5. He knows how to bust a move.

Matt isn't a one trick pony. He might be known for his vocals, but he can keep up with the best of them on the dance floor too!

6. He keeps his fans in the loop.

Morrison is active on both Twitter and Instagram, so fans need only follow him now for constant updates!

Throughout his career, Matt has been nominated for one Tony Award, two Outer Critics Circle Awards, two Drama Desk Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards (won once), two Golden Globe Awards, and one Emmy Award.

9. Have we mentioned that voice?

Really though, there's no one who can sing quite like him!
