Celebrate Hanukah, the Festival of Lights, with award-winning storyteller Robin Bady as she shares her favorite stories and songs of miracles, menorahs, dreidels, and potato latkes. Listen, sing, dance, celebrate and have fun! Robin is accompanied by alt-rock violinist Deni Bonet.

Six historic sites in Flushing invite you to celebrate the holiday season with refreshments and activities while learning about the houses and their unique histories. A trolley will be available to take visitors from one historic house to the next.

Join us for a night of Korean traditional folk music. Gayakeum (Korean native stringed instrument) Ensemble led by Master Gayakeumist and Composer Gye Ok Kim will play beloved folk songs such as Arirang, Doraji and more.

THE David LeonHARDT TRIO - A WINTER HOLIDAY JAZZ CONCERT

Holiday classics with a jazz beat, a swinging take on seasonal favorites that we all know and hum! This internationally acclaimed jazz group, led by David Leonhardt (former David "Fathead" Newman Quintet pianist) will have fingers snapping and toes tapping as they present a winter holiday concert of cool jazz and hot rhythms.

Honor the values of African cultures as we celebrate Kwanzaa in style. Experts talk about the importance of dress and personal style as manifest in the Kwanzaa principle of Kujichagulia or Self-Determination

Flushing Council on Culture and the Arts (FCCA) was founded in 1979 to be a revitalizing force for its community, and a creative catalyst for developing and promoting the arts throughout the Borough of Queens, the most culturally diverse county in the United States. FCCA restored, operates and programs historic Flushing Town Hall (circa 1862) as a multi arts center (on behalf of New York City, which owns the building) and provides services to artists, arts organizations and educational institutions, borough- wide.
