According to Variety, a revival of A.R. Gurney's The Dining Room will join two world premieres as part of the Keen Company's 2007-2008 season.  All plays will be presented at the Clurman Theater on Theater Row.

The acclaimed Off-Broadway company will present Gurney's (Love Letters, Sylvia) 1981 work from September 7th through October 14th.  Jonathan Silverstein (Keen Company's Tea and Sympathy) will direct the production, which is about "the fading lifestyle of upper middle class WASPS."

Also on the line-up is the world premiere of David Hay's The Maddening Truth, director by Keen Artistic Director Carl Forsman.  The play "follows Hemingway's third wife, Martha Gellhorn," and will run from January 15th through February 17th, 2008.

The world premiere of Michael Roland Murphy's The Conscientious Objector, directed by Forsman, will run from February 26th through April 20th, 2008.  The play is a "fact-based story, which draws on sources including White House telephone recordings, traces the results of Martin Luther King's 1967 decision to take a public stance against American military presence in Vietnam."
