Actor Gerard Butler who donned the Phantom mask in the 2004 film version of 'The Phantom of the Opera' is not expecting to be approached to do a film sequel - should one be in the works.

During a press conference for his latest film endeavor 'How to Train Your Dragon', Butler told PopcornBiz, "I doubt very much they'll be asking me to do the sequel...Besides I'm sure they are a long time away from making the movie."

Gerard Butler's film roles include 'Tomorrow Never Dies', '300', 'The Phantom of the Opera', 'P.S. I Love You', 'Lara Croft Tomb Raider', 'Nim's Island', 'Gamer', 'The Ugly Truth', 'How To Train Your Dragon' and 'The Bounty Hunter'.
