Because a frame can be as important as the art it surrounds, GFAGallery.com has an online tool to make framing paintings easier and provide shoppers with options they can see before buying.

Framing Manager Roberto de la Espriella shares tips for foolproof framing selection on the site. After selecting a painting or print, he suggests clicking the "See It Framed" link which opens the doors to a fun way to design your own favorite look.First, select the wall color where the art will be hanging. "This is one of the most important featured options," said Kari Baker Customer Service Manager. "If the artwork colors and subject in the image along with the frame do not complement the room color, all you need to do is change your selections, it's that easy and simple to do and allows a customer to see where in their house their favorite artwork may look best."

Next, the site guides the buyer to the styles and models of frames and includes a close-up option to see what the frame looks like in detail. A selection of liners is also available. The combinations of frame, mats and liners means that even if the artwork purchased is part of a limited edition collection, the buyer's own purchase will be framed in a unique custom design selected by the collector to perfectly suit individual taste and home design.

No framing expertise is needed. GFAGallery.com's online system lets you know if a painting accepts a mat or liner automatically.

"When customers use the online framing option they are going to have a much better idea of what their purchase will look like when it hangs in their home or office," Roberto De La Espriella said. "We really think this online framing option is going to make our customers happy, knowing in advance that their selection suits their taste and decor."

There are also several new artworks that have been added to the website like from artist De La Nuez, Arbe, Christian Title, Marcie Ziv and John Powell.
