A spontaneous fusion of live music and comedy, FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME is a stage show like no other (and no two shows are alike!). Six performers provide non-stop action throughout this fast-paced sensory sensation, spinning cues from the audience into humorous bits, instantaneous songs and riffs, and fully realized musical numbers. Drawing inspiration from hip-hop, jazz and sketch comedy, FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME delivers the goods in a show that's packed with laughs and jaw-dropping vocal effects, all backed by live music from keyboards, sax & plenty of beats.

FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME features Christopher Jackson AKA "C-Jack," Arthur Lewis AKA "Arthur The Geniuses," Lin-Manuel Miranda AKA "Lin-Man," Billy Sherman AKA "King Sherman," Chris Sullivan AKA "Shockwave," and Anthony Veneziale AKA "Two-Touch." The stunning vocals of the performers ­ from singing to rapping to beat-boxing with harmonies and freestyle-flow ­ are backed by tight tunes from keyboards, flute, sax and human percussion. FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME has been invited to perform at the 2005 Aspen Comedy Festival!

In name and beyond, FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME pays homage to John Coltrane's "A Love Supreme", with a nod to musical roots in jazz, soul, blues and hip-hop and the expressive nature of Coltrane's sound. FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME is directed by Thomas Kail and includes set design by Beowulf Boritt, lighting design by Jeff Croiter, sound design by Jorge Muelle and costume design by Lisa Zinni. This production is presented by Ars Nova, Back House Productions and Jill Furman.

Beginning January 7th, FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME will play Friday nights at 8:00 PM through January 21th. Performances began Friday, October 22nd. Tickets are $20.
