Franc D'Ambrosio to Release New CD and Appear on Today Show, NBC Special

Franc D'Ambrosio, who starred in the title role of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Tony Award winning musical The Phantom of the Opera for over six years, has just finished a special musical guest star appearance on the upcoming NBC Network special Brian Boitano's Skating Spectacular which taped in Las Vegas, Nevada December 18, 2004 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and will air on NBC January 1, 2005, 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm (EST).

Having received nightly standing ovations from more than five million theatergoers, D'Ambroiso's association with The Phantom of the Opera earned him the title of "The World's Longest Running Phantom" after completing over 2600 consecutive performances. As a result, he served as the red carpet correspondent for the popular entertainment news program Access Hollywood at the New York premiere of Joel Shumacher's musical film version of The Phantom of The Opera on December 12, 2004.

In addition to his appearance in Las Vegas with Brian Boitano and fellow Olympic Champion Guest Star Kristi Yamaguchi, plus popular 2004 American Idol finalist Diana DeGarmo, and 2004 Olympic Gymnastics Gold medalist Carley Patterson, D'Ambroiso will also appear as a musical guest on The Today Show December 30, 2004 to debut an extraordinary rendition of "What Kind of Fool Am I?" as featured on D'Ambrosio's first ever solo CD Franc D'Ambrosio's Broadway (LML Music).

"What Kind of Fool Am I?," written by Leslie Bricusse & Anthony Newley for the hit Broadway show Stop the World, I Want to Get Off, is the featured cut on D'Ambrosio's CD which includes a compilation of musical selections from other such legendary Broadway shows as Chicago, Brigadoon, Damn Yankees, Les Miserables, Sweeney Todd, Jekyll & Hyde, The Phantom of the Opera and many others.

Franc D'Ambrosio's Broadway will be released nationally January 4, 2005 and will also be featured on United Airlines In-Flight Entertainment Radio during January/February 2005.

Predicated on the music and the title of the CD, D'Ambrosio will continue to headline Franc D'Ambrosio's Broadway .. a 76 city U.S. National concert tour beginning January 7, 2005 produced by D'Ambrosio and Lee Lessack of LML Music and its Concert Division. The tour began in earlier this year.

Also noted for portraying Al Pacino's opera singing son, Anthony Corleone, in The Godfather Part III (after an international search lasting more than a year,) D'Ambrosio's CD features the never-before-recorded love theme from The Godfather Part III.

Most recently, D'Ambrosio was personally chosen by Barry Manilow to create and star as the lead in Manilow's pre-Broadway tour of Copacabana. In the role of Tony, D'Ambrosio earned a National Theatre Award nomination for Best Male Performer in a Musical.

D'Ambrosio will also be featured (singing a duet with Lee Lessack) on the upcoming CD In Good Company (LML Music) to be released during spring, 2005. Additional featured artists include Michael Feinstein, Amanda McBroom, Ann Hampton Callaway and Maureen McGovern.
