Fashion Photo of the Day 9/20/13 - Natalie Portman

I am having a moment with this Christian Dior dress on the always gorgeous Natalie Portman. I am so in love with everything about this dress I don't even know where to begin. I have to be honest, I went to the collection of photos from last night's New York City Ballet Fall Gala to feature another actress' look. But then I saw this photo and it stopped me in my tracks. Sorry not sorry about it!

First of all, I love love love the color blocking. It is so unexpected in an evening gown and the colors themselves are a bold choice. When was the last time you saw an aqua, yellow and black gown? Secondly, the texture. I just want to touch it! It looks so cool but stays completely chic and classic. If you had said to me "You are wearing a textured, color blocked gown in aqua, yellow and black" I would think you were on something. But look at it, its stunning. And Portman could not have looked more beautiful.
