Fashion Photo of the Day 5/10/13 - Kate Bosworth

Sometimes I forget that Kate Bosworth is an actress. Not because she isn't talented or doesn't work or is on the news all the time for questionable behavior. It's because she is just so beautiful and perfectly dressed at all times that I mistake her for a model or an Olivia Palermo type, who's job is to be stylish and fashion forward so that others can see how it's done. Maybe Palermo and Bosworth and Diane Kruger can join forces and become like fashion's Charlie's Angels and save women from making tragic fashion mistakes. Too much? Fine, maybe in my dream world.

I am loving everything about this Prada look on Bosworth. The mix of silvers, golds and metallics is cool and edgy but chic all the same. Staying in one color palette is an effortless way to look put together and classic but not boring. I also love the sexy halter/non-halter detail in the top - which is an open back - tucked into the flirty skirt. It's just a great ensemble expertly styled with simple hair and a pop of a red lip. Total perfection head to metallic heels!
