According to Page Six, Vogue editor and fashion mogul Anna Wintour, who expressed her distaste at last year's Tony Awards red carpet fashions, will be the event's newest consultant.

"I was just recently at the Tony Awards ... and, God, they need your help. Let me tell you, it was a disaster," Wintour told Suzy Menkes in a recent interview in London. "How many mermaid fishtail strapless sequin [gowns] can we see?"

American Theatre Wing chair and Tony-winning costume designer William Ivey Long (currently represented on Broadway by IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU, ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY and CABARET) has reportedly asked Wintour "to help make his red carpet...more chic."

"Anna's an unpaid, uncredited, top-secret consultant," a source told Page Six. "She's going to spruce up the carpet, make it more special, which is something they've never had."

Among the few fashion brands that appeared at the 2014 ceremony were Narciso Rodriguez, Stella McCartney and Sophie Theallet.

What do you think? Which designers do you most want to see on the Tonys red carpet on June 7?

The 2015 Tony Awards will be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City, on Sunday, June 7th, 2015 (8:00 - 11:00 p.m. ET/PT time delay) on the CBS Television Network, live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The Tony Awards, which honors theater professionals for distinguished achievement on Broadway, has been broadcast on CBS since 1978. The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
