FUERZA BRUTA Taipei Adds 60 Additional Shows, Breaks Records
Last night, the cutting-edge theatrical sensation FUERZA BRUTA celebrated a maximum capacity opening night in Taipei and commencing a very successful Asian debut with a record-breaking $2 million in advance ticket sales. As the first 60 shows are almost sold out, local promoter United Daily News Group (UDN) has announced an additional 60 performances, totaling 120 shows through March 7th, 2010, which breaks the record for the most performances of a single show in Taiwanese history. The 120 performances will double the prior record.
The very successful premiere turned out dozens of Taiwan celebrities, VIP's, government officials and media. FUERZA BRUTA has a company performing in New York, at Union Square's Daryl Roth Theater, which is entering its third blockbuster year with over 800 performances, grossing over $12M.
