Temerity Theatre is pleased to announce their first full-length play since 2001, the New York Premiere of Film Noix by Ed Malin. John DeBenedetto will direct. Performances will be at Theater Under St. Marks, 94 St Marks Place (between 1st Avenue & Avenue A) beginning December 1st running through December 18th.

Starting off as a "film noir play" of uncertain time period & setting, Film Noix goes within the minds & hearts of two female secret agents, both in love with El Condé Nasty. Each thinks she is his only love, because El Condé's twin brother & the gangster Madras Ofeenian are obscuring the picture. But who's deceiving whom? What did El Condé really discover at the Observatory in Guadalalopez? And should he have to die for it?

Featured in Film Noix are Michael C. Freeland, Jack McGowan, Amy Lee Pearsall, David Sporer & Karen Thornton.

Ed Malin's previous plays include Dog Spelled Backwards Is Krishna (New York International Fringe Festival), L'aardvarcchio (Pantheon) & Presumed Retarded (Manhattan Theatre Source). His short plays from the "Spontaneous Combustion 48-hour Playwriting Festivals" will be published by Manhattan Theatre Source.
