FEAST Brings Fresh Performances and Snacks to UNDER St. Marks Theater This February

FEAST: A Performance Series (produced and curated by Alex Randrup and Conrad Kluck) announces the Featured Artists for its next monthly show, on Monday February 4th, 2019, 7pm at UNDER St. Marks Theater (94 St. Marks Place). Tickets are $12 online at www.feastperformance.com and $15 at the door.

FEAST3: January presents workshop performances from performance artist Leonie Bell, theater-maker finkle, and musician Eli Denby Wood. The show will also feature the series' traditional in-show snack table and post-show party Nightcap, which takes place immediately following the show around the corner at The Grafton (126 1st Avenue).

Leonie Bell is a German-American artist based in Berlin/New York with an MFA in Theatre from Sarah Lawrence College. Recent antics include Mommy and Me (Cloud City), I Don't Want to Interrupt You Guys (Chez Bushwick/Jonah Bokaer Arts Foundation), and The Slow Room (Performance Space New York). Mabou Mines Resident-Artist-Program 2019; BAX Upstart Program 2018-2019. Leonie brings to FEAST3: February a spontaneous experiment for party-goers, librarians, and other people who sometimes wish they could remember their dreams. www.leoniebell.org.

finkle is the alter ego of playwright Kenny Finkle. finkle is a theatre-maker, writer, singer, composer, visual artist, performer and semi-trickster. His work has been developed at The Orchard Project, Keen Company, The American Repertory Theatre, Ars Nova, and current at Dallas Theatre Center, developing 1993 Melancholy. finkle will develop a section of this new quasi-musical semi-autobiographical audio theatre experience about the year 1993, at FEAST3: February. Follow finkle on Instagram as finklefactory.

Eli Denby Wood is a folk musician messing around with strings and a surprisingly wide vocal range. They are working through some nonsense about love and loss and storytelling at FEAST3: February with a set of new music titled Dates With The Same Name.

FEAST: A Performance Series is a monthly multidisciplinary performance lab centered on artistic advocacy and community building. FEAST presents a night of new work from three artists of three different performance-based disciplines every first Monday of the month. Information and tickets can be found at www.feastperformance.com.
