Epic Kicks Off Summer With CONSTELLATIONS Epic Theatre Company is celebrating the summer with the first of two shows that look at life and love from every angle of the imagination. The first is the Rhode Island Premiere of Nick Payne's "Constellations," which examines the ways we meet, connect, disconnect, break apart, and get back together again. It's the laws of love meets the laws of the Universe in this beautiful two-person play that's the perfect evening of summer theater.

"We're so excited to take a break from the high drama we've been presenting this season and look at something a little lighter, but with an equal amount of substance," says Epic Artistic Director Kevin Broccoli, "It's always tough to program shows for the summer, because when the weather gets nice, people become a little hesitant to spend time in the theater. When I read Constellations, I knew this was our perfect July show. It's short, sweet, and sincere in a way that's becoming more and more unique. I think audiences are just going to love it."

Joanne Fayan returns to Epic to helm the production, and playing the star-crossed lovers are Christopher Crider-Plonka (Red Speedo, The Bedroom Plays) and Hannah Lum (Life Sucks, The Homecoming).

Constellations by Nick Payne is being offered as a limited run July 13th - 28th at the newly renovated theater at 50 Rolfe Square, home to Epic Theatre Company. Tickets are $20 General Admission, $15 for Seniors, and Students/Military are free as part of Epic's Free Ticketing Program.
