Emerging Artists Theatre Company as part of their "In The Oven" new works series will present a public staged reading of "Deny The Enemy" by LARRY HARRIS on Wednesday, May 16, 7:00 PM at TADA Theatre Space, 5 West 28th Street between Broadway and Fifth Avenue.

Directed by Donald Brenner, "Deny The Enemy" will feature Mark Doherty, LEIGH WILLIAMS, NICHOLAS WUERHMANN, James Nugent, Mark Campbell, JAMIE HEINLEIN, PETER HERRICK and AJ CEDENO.

Set at the height of World War II, "Deny The Enemy" is based on the true story of Moe Berg, a Jewish-American baseball player turned spy, who hunts down Werner Heisenberg, the German Nobel Prize-winning physicist, who is building and secretly sabotaging Hitler's atomic bomb.

Larry Harris has worked at the Guthrie Theater and Manhattan Theatre Club. Emerging Artists has produced several of his plays in the 15 years that Harris has been a company playwright.  Smith and Kraus published his "Answering the Echo" which won Honorable Mention: Best Play in NY's 9th Annual 15 Minute Play Festival.

Donald Brenner directed the New York Musical Theatre Festival production of "The Most Ridiculous Thing You Ever Hoid," Sherman Yellen's "December Fools" (Abingdon Theatre), "A Tale of Two Cities" (Mint Theatre) and the world premiere of "Beyond Gravity" (New Jersey Rep).  He also Assistant Directed City Center Encores! "The Boys From Syracuse."
