Eden Espinosa will sing classic and contemporary Broadway hits when she makes her Town Hall concert debut on October 22nd. Tickets for the concert, as well as for the other two in the Broadway/Cabaret Festival, will go on sale at Ticketmaster on Friday, August 5th at noon

Espinosa, whose rich, multi-octave range helped her to shoot to stardom with her turn in Brooklyn: The Musical and her appearances in Wicked, will take the spotlight for the entire second act of Euan Morton & Eden Espinosa Sing Broadway. Espinosa replaces the previously-announced Louise Pitre (Mamma Mia!) as the Tony-nominated Taboo performer's co-star in the concert; Pitre dropped out due to a conflict in her performance schedule. Morton will sing his own special program of showtunes for the first act of the concert.

Scott Siegel, producer/host for the Town Hall Broadway/Cabaret Festival said, "This unprecedented pairing of two of today's most popular stars of pop Broadway musicals is intended not only to showcase their abundant talents, it will also prove that they are very much a part of a great Broadway tradition. The Broadway songbook of old – and new – will come together with their vibrant and soaring performances." Siegel, who is the creator/writer/host of the popular Broadway by the Year series and the Broadway Unplugged concerts at Town Hall (123 W. 43rd St.), added, "Seeing these two amazing stars on the same stage, on the same night, is a wish come true."

Espinosa, who was nominated for a 2005 Drama League Award for Distinguished Performance for playing the title role in Brooklyn, stood by as Elphaba in Wicked, going on for Idina Menzel numerous times. Regionally, she has appeared in Triumph of Love, and can be heard on the concept album of Bright Lights, Big City, on The Maury Yeston Songbook and on John McDaniel Live at Joe's Pub.

In addition to the Espinosa-Morton concert, a star-studded evening called Life is a Cabaret: A Tribute to Kander & Ebb will be held at 8 PM on Friday, October 21st; it will star Ann Reinking, Brent Barrett and Robert Cuccioli, among others. On Sunday, October 23rd at 3 PM, Broadway Originals will feature stars such as Liz Callaway, Michael Cerveris, Chuck Cooper and Emily Skinner returning to sing the songs that made them famous.
